About Mario: Mario was born and raised in Phalaborwa, South Africa, with a humble upbringing that still reflects in his personality. It is said that once you drink from the "Olifants River" you will forever be tied to Africa. In 1993, Mario moved to Lisbon where he currently lives. Mario is dedicated, determined, kind, and a good friend. He has always been fond of sports and when younger excelled at middle distance running. Currently, Mario enjoys kickboxing and Muay Thai and he takes those seriously as a form of self-defense and self-discipline.
