Welcome to Proteus.net.  Strategic Networks Training, LLC provides this website and its features to you subject to the following conditions.  If you visit Proteus.net or purchase or otherwise access any service offered by or through this site, you accept these conditions.  Please read them carefully.  If you do not wish to be bound by these conditions, do not access or use Proteus.net or the services or products offered through the site.  In addition, when you use any current or future Strategic Networks Training, LLC service, product or business you also will be subject to the guidelines, terms and agreements (“Terms”) applicable to such service product or business. If these conditions are inconsistent with such Terms, the Terms will control.

This license does not include any resale or commercial use of this site or its contents; any collection and use of any product or service listings, descriptions or prices; any derivative use of this site or its contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots or similar data gathering and extraction tools. This site or any portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express written consent of Strategic Networks Training, LLC. You may not frame or utilize framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout or form) of Strategic Networks Training, LLC without its express written consent. You may not use any meta tags or any other “hidden text” utilizing Strategic Networks Training, LLC’s name or trademarks without the express written consent of Strategic Networks Training, LLC. Any unauthorized use terminates the permission or license granted by Strategic Networks Training, LLC to access this site. You are granted a limited, revocable, and nonexclusive right to create a hyperlink to the home page of Proteus.net so long as the link does not portray this site, Strategic Networks Training, LLC or the products or services offered on this site in a false, misleading, derogatory or otherwise offensive matter. You may not use any Strategic Networks Training, LLC logo or other proprietary graphic or trademark as part of the link without express written permission.


Subscribers to this site may make one (1) attributed copy of any document in the “Resources” category on this site for use within their organization. You agree that such copies shall not be used across multiple locations unless a multi-user subscription specifically covers such locations. Documents in the “Resources” category include, but are not limited to, How Tos, White Papers, FAQs, Podcasts, Practice Exam. You agree that you shall not customize, edit or otherwise modify such documents.  Other reproduction or transmission of these materials, whether electronically or in hard copy format to anyone, including offsite employees, customers or others, is prohibited. None of these materials may be posted on subscriber’s intranets without the permission of Strategic Networks Training, LLC.  4.         MESSAGE BOARDS AND CHAT ROOMS


Strategic Networks Training, LLC hosts message boards, chats and other public fora on Proteus.net.  You may use such public forums, so long as the content posted by you is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable and does not consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings or any form of “spam.” You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity or otherwise mislead as to the origin of such content. Strategic Networks Training, LLC reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove or edit such content, but does not regularly review posted content.


If you do post content or submit material, and unless we indicate otherwise, you grant Strategic Networks Training, LLC a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media. You grant Strategic Networks Training, LLC and sublicensees the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content, if they choose. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post; that the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and that you will indemnify Strategic Networks Training, LLC for all claims resulting from content you supply. 6.         Accounts, Passwords and Security


If the Proteus.net or services offered on this site require you to open an account, you must complete the registration process by providing Strategic Networks Training, LLC with current, complete, and accurate information, as prompted by the applicable registration form. You acknowledge that by providing any information to Strategic Networks Training, LLC which is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Strategic Networks Training, LLC reserves the right to terminate your access to Proteus.net and use of the services offered on the site. 


As part of the registration process, you will be asked to select a username and password. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your password and account, for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You agree that you will not disclose your password to any other person nor in any way share or transfer access provided by your membership to anyone else. You agree that you will not permit access through a single name and password to multiple users.  You agree to notify Strategic Networks Training, LLC immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.  Strategic Networks Training, LLC shall not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account. You may be liable for any losses incurred by Strategic Networks Training, LLC or another party due to someone else using your account or password. 


If you are under 18, you may use Proteus.net only with involvement of a parent or guardian. Strategic Networks Training, LLC reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content or cancel orders in its sole discretion.

Strategic Networks Training, LLC respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide Strategic Networks Training, LLC’s copyright agent the written information specified below. Please note that this procedure is exclusively for notifying Strategic Networks Training, LLC that your copyrighted material has been infringed.

By visiting Proteus.net, you agree that the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these conditions and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Strategic Networks Training, LLC.


Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to Proteus.net or to products or services sold or distributed by Strategic Networks Training, LLC or through Proteus.net in which the aggregate total claim for relief sought on behalf of one or more parties exceeds $7,500 shall be adjudicated in any state or federal court in Howard County, Maryland, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts.

We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these conditions at any time.
