JUNOS for SRX Platforms covers the configuration, operation, and implementation of JUNOS security platforms in a typical network environment. Key topics within this course include security technologies such as security zones, security policies, unified threat management (UMT), intrusion detection and prevention (IDP), Network Address Translation (NAT), high availability clusters, virtual machines, as well as details pertaining to basic implementation, configuration, and management. The course includes extensive hands-on labs configuring and monitoring JUNOS Software for SRX Series.
The course combines both lecture and labs, with significant time allocated for hands-on experience. Students completing this course should be confident in their ability to configure Juniper Networks SRX Services Gateways in a wide range of installations.
This class also helps prepare the student for the Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist in JUNOS Security (JNCIS-SEC) certification exam JN0-331.
Objectives
