IPv6 Training (Coming Soon)
In early 2011, it was officially announced that IANA had exhausted all IPv4 address space. Knowing this
would eventually happen; a new standard was developed to be able to support the vast growing
demand for routable IP address space, thus, IP Version 6 (IPv6).
This course is designed to introduce network engineers to IPv6 concepts and compare and contrast
them to IPv4. Also, they will learn about new maintenance and troubleshooting mechanisms such as
ICMPv6 and neighbor discovery. In addition, students will learn about various revised routing protocols
that support IPv6 such as RIPng and OSPFv3, as well as learn how to integrate IPv6 into networks that
are currently running IPv4. Other topics covered are the implementation of routing policy, firewall
filters, Multicast Listener Discovery, and MPLS VPN’s for use in IPv6 networks.
Currently no classes are available. Please check back soon.
