We work with you from conception to production to ensure cost efficiency and eliminate any project mishaps. Our process is a simple 5 step process.
Step One: Assessment
This stage is used to identify the current state of the operation as well as critical process and information flows. This culminates into a Client Overview, a document which provides a brief analysis of the client's business situation and whether a need for network modifications exists.
Step Two: Requirements Analysis
In this stage, multiple vendor-agnostic solutions are examined to offer the best possible choices for the problems that are trying to be solved. This stage concludes with a Requirements Draft, a document which provides a summary of the problems identified in the Assessment phase and a set of vendor-neutral solutions to these problems. Included is a detailed discussion of the reasons why and how each particular solution solves the problems identified.
Step Three: Design
After the solution is chosen from the requirements analysis, a specific solution detailing hardware, software, and process tools available from specific vendors is developed. The design phase includes a cost/benefit analysis for the customer detailing specific costs of implementation, accurate prediction of any unknowns based on past projects and goals, and an ROI-based discussion of the Design Engineer's understanding of the business situation. The Design phase results in a Quote which includes a well-defined Scope of Work.
Step Four: Deployment
This stage is the actual implementation of the design. The deployed equipment is pre-configured and template configurations developed. Design refinements may be necessary in the deployment stage but should be minimal. The design phase culminates with the customer's signature on a delivery document indicating that the customer has inspected the work and is satisfied with its scope and quality.
Step Five: Support
The final stage is the support stage. Too often after project completion, a consultant will walk away and never be heard from again. At Proteus Networks the job is never done and we maintain a constant support channel should any issues arise after deployment. Every customer is a customer for life at Proteus Networks.
